19th of September 2016- Apartheid, Racism, Slavery- Alive and Well.

A short introduction video to the Palestinian/Israel conflict.

Another day here in California. Away from the genocide, the destruction, and Apartheid taking place in the middle east (all with the consent of my countrymen and government.)

It sure is a drag. which weighs down on me every single day.

It is 2016 and what civilization has fought for so long to expel, things such as racism and genocide, apartheid, discrimination, war- are all today thriving.

The bombs are still dropping. The drones are still striking. The corporations are still pulling the strings of the puppet politicians. The masses are still hypnotized in every aspect of their lives.

Will any of this ever change? What can stop this super power government from funding more brutal occupation?

Idk where im going with this. But It is something I need to express.

Hello Orange County!

1-4-16

Today is Monday and its the first Monday of the new year! People are scurrying off to work and getting used to being on the grind again!

As for me, I sit at home looking for a job over the internet.

I’m a broke, no-job-having ass fool. But hey, I can still speak to people around the world via WordPress right?

I don’t know what I am getting at. I start school in about a month. Hopefully only have one more semester at Fullerton College, a junior college very close to the Cal State Fullerton.

This is the winter time blues alright. my cat just died. that really sucked. here’s a picture of him: Ludwig_2015.JPG

Right now in the news, uhm, well there is a lot going on.

One ‘trending’ story is the so-called patriots that are occupying a federal building in washington. thats garnering a lot of attention.

Saudi Arabia just executed 47 people in one day. Iranians stormed the Saudi embassy and basically burned it down.

Well, I will keep scouring the internet for news and relevant information for your life.

Follow my blog! I typically write about the Southern California area, events, artists, music, skateboarding especially.

Take it easy guys.

Monday September 28th- What are you and I really doing today?

The Blood Moon last night symbolized the transformation of darkness to light- the deepening of blackness to complete obscurity, and then to the eventual unveiling of a bright white light.

We can all be seen as this- life breaks us down and puts a shadow over our mind, and suddenly we are found in a solid black abyss of sorrow and confusion. But from this, a cleansing. We are given the opportunity to resurrect anew.

The hardship of life for each of us is a great opportunity to understand the sorrow of others and why our help is greatly appreciated.

Southern California is going about its regular routine today. People attending to their jobs, students flocking to class and filling the libraries. There is always so much going on it is hard to really understand what kind of progress is being made by our society as a whole.

Some would say we are laying the foundation for a better tomorrow for ourselves and for the next generation, others would say we are fighting injustices and securing the well being of those that are less fortunate than most in today’s society, such as minority groups, the homeless, and orphans.

Whatever we are doing as a whole, however, depends completely on ourselves and how we are reacting to the world around us. While there are people who wish to continue to control the masses, through popular culture and other ego-entertainment, there are those wishing to free others from suffering, those trying to awaken others who are still asleep.

Each day we build upon the efforts of yesterday, and we are always creating and destroying. Ultimately, it depends on ourselves. The greatest work we can afford the world is the work we conduct upon ourselves; the spiritual path of compassion, understanding and love.

When we understand that each of us plays an intrinsic role and we each have a great responsibility, we will all start to make the world a better place, and the collective unconscious will, more and more, begin to heal the wounds made upon this world, the wounds of hate and selfishness.

“Yesterday I was clever, so I wanted to change the world. Today I am wise, so I am changing myself.” – Rumi

Move Bitch Get Out The Way!

You know you’re the boss of your entire existence, right?

You decide what happens, er, at least how you react and feel about what happens.

I’ve really started to take control though, and I hope every one else is doing the same.

Check it out, what we live in is a construct of all the people who have lived before us and what lies in the future depends entirely upon us.

Have courage, do what you know is right (and if you dont know then God will most definitely be pushing you in the right direction), and see what happens.

Free Time In the USA

What am I supposed to do with all of this newly acquired summer free time I suddenly have??

I have no bills to pay, no school to go to, and no real problems facing me!! (i still live with my parents- one problem facing me is their struggles and suffering.)

There is so much to do in Orange County. Why cant i think of something? Anything?? I know! I’ll go for a hike in Santiago Canyon and do some reconnecting with mother nature!

In this part of the world, there is a real disconnection with anything real. We find somethings that are “real” in the every day dynamics of our lives, such as communicating with loved ones or connecting with strangers, or allowing our minds to become relaxed by doing an activity we love to do. But other than those moments, most of our lives spent in society is working: working to get a pay check or working to maintain the status quo.

You have to be aware of where your mind is at. you have to try and view your mind as a psychologists would: what your drives are, what your desires are, what your thinking about and how your feeling.

Free-time can be spent reconnecting with your Self. Or it can be wasted with distraction- a leading away from things that cannot be taken away, such as peace.

College Finals

The last couple weeks of the semester are upon us. summer is just around the corner. Soon, us college students wont have to worry about turning in assignments for our professors.

What have we learned from this semester, however?

If you’re like me you’re probably kicking yourself for procrastinating, again.

Everyone must not forget that what we have learned in school, in past semesters and this one, we should be investigating on our own time and applying in real life. One thing harder than school is applying what you’ve learned in school in ordinary life. We get a brief introduction from our professors but it is up to us to dig deeper and discover the ways to use the information.

Math for instance. We use it every day. Algebra, however, is a little bit more evasive when it comes to ordinary application. But there are uses for it, obviously. Think about what you are learning and learn how to use it for the betterment of your life!

This summer: Read more, check out more books, walk more, meditate more, stretch more, drink more water, talk to more people, write more, and think about how fast school goes by.

One day when we are old we will look back at these days, at the beginning of our education and of our adult lives and minds.

Contemplations on the world today

We all need to do our best every day to make the world a better place. there is much sorrow and grief constantly occurring. Only when it is occurring to ourselves do we remember the pain it brings. When we overcome sorrow we feel humbled and we receive new strengths we didn’t believe we had. Let us not forget the trouble brought upon by sorrow. Let us lift the weight of sorrow off of others, because we know how it feels to be in their position.

Let us forget about our selfish desires. Let us remember how to live. let us reconnect with the Earth.

Only when we meditate can we gain a birds eye view of life. By resting in great natural peace we can go about our world with our minds at peace, which will lead to world peace.
